Introduction
- South Pole Masons Hub (“our”, “we”) respects your right to privacy and strives to protect your personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709). This Personal Data Protection (“PDP”) notice sets out South Pole Masons Hub’s approach in handling personal data.
- This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected by South Pole Masons Hub but does not apply to personal data collected by other entities including those owned or controlled by or affiliated to South Pole Masons Hub, individuals that are not employees of South Pole Masons Hub, or websites that are not under the South Pole Masons Hub’s control.
- South Pole Masons Hub may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. As such, you are expected to read this Privacy Policy each time you wish to provide your personal data to South Pole Masons Hub. Substantial amendments to this policy will be announced on this website.

- South Pole Masons Hub may collect personal data directly from you where it is necessary, reasonable or practical to do so. In order for South Pole Masons Hub to process your order, you will also be required to provide your personal data where it is necessary.

- The types of personal data which South Pole Masons Hub may need to process include but are not limited to –

Protection of Personal Data
- South Pole Masons Hub will take reasonable efforts to protect personal data in our possession or our control by making reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. However, South Pole Masons Hub cannot completely guarantee the security of any personal data we may have collected from or about you, or that for example no harmful code will enter our websites, applications, and digital services (e.g. viruses, bugs, trojan horses, spyware or adware). - While South Pole Masons Hub strive to protect your personal data, we cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit to us via the internet, when you browse our websites, or use our applications and/or digital services, and the method of electronic storage. South Pole Masons Hub strongly recommends that you change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and ensure that you use a secure browser.
- You undertake to keep your username and password secure and confidential and shall not disclose or permit it to be disclosed to any unauthorised person, and to inform us as soon as reasonably practicable if you know or suspect that someone else knows your username and password or believe the confidentiality of your username and password has been lost, stolen or compromised in any way or that actual or possible unauthorised transactions have taken place. We are not liable for any damages resulting from any security breaches, on unauthorised and/or fraudulent use of your username and password.

Disclosure of Personal Data
- South Pole Masons Hub will take reasonable steps to protect your personal data against unauthorised disclosure. However, we may share personal data with third parties if –
  - a service provided requires interaction with a third party, or is provided by a third party on South Pole Masons Hub’s behalf; or
  - it is pursuant to legal action or law enforcement.
- Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, South Pole Masons Hub may disclose your personal data to third parties, whether they are located in Malaysia or overseas, including but not limited to –
  - financial institutions;
  - regulatory and governmental agencies as permitted or required by law, authorised by any order of court or to comply with any laws, rules, guidelines and regulations or schemes imposed by the governmental and regulatory authorities;
  - third party service providers; who provide operational services to South Pole Masons Hub such as courier services, telecommunications, information technology, payment, printing, billing, payroll, processing.
  - companies providing services relating to medical screening, insurance, marketing and consultancy;
  - partners or collaborators in South Pole Masons Hub events and programmes;
  - professional advisers such as consultants, auditors and lawyers;
  - past or future employers of South Pole Masons Hub’s employees or prospective employees,
  - any business partners, investors, assignee or transferee (actual or prospective) to facilitate business asset transaction (which may extend to any merger, acquisition or asset sale) involving South Pole Masons Hub;

Retention of personal data
- South Pole Masons Hub will retain personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose such personal data was collected, other purposes that are not incompatible with the original purpose and as required by law. South Pole Masons Hub will also abide by legal, tax and other regulatory and industry requirements/guidelines for keeping records including our retention of record policy.   - request for erasure of your personal data from South Pole Masons Hub’s systems and records.

However, the extent in which South Pole Masons Hub can comply with your request without affecting our mutual rights and obligations in relation to the transaction, depend on the stage of the transaction.
